Knowledge
The Frost Giants are the most common giants that resides in Jotunheim, where they have their own kingdom. These nature spirits with superhuman strength and sturdiness are in constant war with he Dwarves and other minor races of the northwestern parts of Lunatara. They are known for their unfriendly manner and see any smaller creature or person as pray in their hunt for food. With their brutal size and strength they outman almost any adventurer that come across them and should always be avoided unless traveling in a pack of potent fighters. While most giants are generally simple, dumb brutes older giants grow very wise because of their long lifetime.
Appearance
Most of the frost giants are hideous in appearance, with long claws, fangs and deformed bodyparts apart from their great size. They vary in length from a mere three meters up to an impressing ten meters for the largest of their kind.
But there are nobles among the frost giants who are spared from these deformities. They are said to be some of the most beautiful creatures in these snowy lands and more than one adventurer have been led astray by a noble giant.
Behaviour
The frost giants rarely seek out to attack another village or scouting parties, though many fall pray to their regular hunts for food. There are however many records of attacks out of revenge or jealousy towards other races, particularly the dwarves who seek to ever expand their kingdom of Midgard. For an outsider to have become friends with the frost giants, or even made successful contact with them, have never been heard of even if it may have happened.
